Tangem Pay

A Visa card inside the Tangem app, paid for with your USDC. When you buy something, the matching amount of USDC is deducted and Visa pays the merchant in regular currency.

  • Add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay, or order a plastic card
  • Spend online, in stores, and withdraw cash at ATMs
  • Available in the U.S. (some states excluded) and select countries
  • Requires identity verification: age 18+, government ID, and SSN for U.S. residents

Your Tangem Pay address is not your Tangem Wallet address. Tangem Pay keeps your card balance in its own account, with its own deposit address. Always send card money to the Tangem Pay address.

From People Trust to your card

Fund Tangem Pay with your People Trust dollars

Convert dollars in your People Trust account to USDC on Polygon, then send it straight to your card. Steps 1 to 3 happen in the Tangem app, and step 4 happens here.

  1. Step 1: Install Tangem and create a wallet

    Download the Tangem app on iOS or Android using our link. A hardware card or ring gives you the strongest security, and the free mobile wallet also works with Tangem Pay.

  2. Step 2: Sign up for Tangem Pay

    Pick your region, accept the terms, and verify your identity with your phone number, email and a photo ID. Your virtual card usually arrives within 5 minutes, though rarely it can take up to 48 hours. You can link only one Tangem Wallet to Tangem Pay, and you can't change it later.

  3. Step 3: Copy your Polygon USDC deposit address

    2. Add funds
    3. From another wallet or exchange
    4. Polygon
    5. Copy USDC address

    Paste it into your People Trust profile once. After that, Withdraw fills it in for you.

  4. Step 4: Convert and send

    In People Trust

    Convert USD to USDC and choose Polygon as the network. Then withdraw that USDC to your Tangem Pay address.

Send only USDC on Polygon. Tangem says any other token, or USDC sent on the wrong network or to the wrong address, is lost for good. People Trust sends native USDC on Polygon, which is what Tangem Pay accepts.

Common questions

Is Tangem Pay a People Trust product?

No. Tangem and its card partners provide Tangem Pay. People Trust doesn't issue the card, hold your Tangem Pay balance or see your card activity. For help with verification or your card, contact Tangem Pay support at support@paera.com.

Do I need the hardware card?

No. Tangem Pay works with the free Tangem mobile wallet or with a hardware card or ring. Tangem recommends hardware for stronger security.

Can I send USDT, or use another network?

Tangem Pay accepts USDC and USDT on Polygon, Base, Arbitrum and BNB Smart Chain. People Trust sends USDC on Polygon only, so choose Polygon when you copy your deposit address.

Is Tangem Pay available where I live?

Tangem Pay is available in the U.S. and select countries in Latin America, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Africa. Some U.S. states are excluded. The Tangem app checks your eligibility when you sign up.

Why doesn't my card balance match right away?

A deposit shows up once the Polygon network confirms it. Tangem notes that card purchases can take up to 2 business days to settle on-chain.
